The Complete Manuals of Bowen Therapy

In producing these manuals I have attempted to better represent the methods taught to me by my teacher Oswald Rentsch the founder of the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.  This methodology was presented as Tom Bowen’s and these manuals do not discuss the many and varied branches of Bowen Therapy methods now taught around the world.  As such, these manuals do not try to incorporate all the variations nor do they claim to be the one presumptive method.  They simply better present the method that I learned and use in my own practice and teaching.

I have completed Bowen training many years ago now. I was looking out for a pack of quick reference cards I purchase at the time I was training. I gave the cards away to a friend who needed them more than I did. Any idea where I may find another pack.

    Regards carol

    1. I’d suggest you purchase the digital manuals as there are quick reference pages to all the major procedures.

    Hello,

Are the manuals 1-8 Spiral Bound with plastic on front covers? Also, are the pages printed in detail with an index to all major complaints? I had a book and it got wet … are these ones waterproof and do they lay flat when using?

And lastly, are taxes and shipping fees extra to deliver to Canada? If I want the downloadable version, is it printable and is it exactly the same as the manuals for $197.00?

    Please advise.

    Thank-You,
    Amber

    1. Hi, the manuals are spiral bound, plastic covers for the front and back. They lay flat but don’t have an index of major complaints. Complaints are listed in indications per procedure. The cost of the manuals does include Canadian provincial taxes and shipping is extra. The digital manuals are less than the printed versions and cost is $127.

I want to learn and practice Bowen Therapy for my family and friend . Those manuals are good enough for self studies?

    1. Yes, the manuals provide 2 sections where there is a longer description and a shorter, simple description. Therefore, the manuals can be used by novice therapists.

what is the difference between this Bowen and what is learned in the Bowen Academy?
Quite honestly, I do like your manuals better and would like to have them.
I don’t even know that I need certification from the Academy
but should i want to return to that path….(I’ve done Module 1-4 with them)….. would I be confused after working with yours?

    Thank you so much….
    Judy Hobbs

    1. Hello Judy, thanks. I’ve maintained a level of continuity to the work of other schoolsof Bowen Therapy and you would find the information interchangeable.
