Tom Bowen’s vision was to make available his methodology to everyone and in keeping with this we have with the support of his family bought the training program to the internet.
In this era of superior internet connectivity and the quality of streaming video that is now available we can now finally offer a quality learning experience that will even surpass the traditional learning methods where only live classes are taught.
The Bowen-Online program and method of training will enable you to simply follow the simplest of steps and discover the ease and efficacy of the method he famously created.
Each procedure is taught with the full manual to view a summary page to download and multiple videos of both the lessons and the procedures. It’s a lot better than being in a live class because you can rewind as you need.
Damonte
In 2001, Damonte founded the original Bowen Therapy ‘walk in’ clinic, the Be Well Now Centre for Pain and Chronic Disease in Toronto, Canada. Was instrumental in forming Bowen Canada a public registry for Bowen therapists. He worked as an instructor for the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia, then known to teach Bowtech which is now known as Bowenwork. Since 2002 he has taught many of the therapists working in Canada today and now in the USA and Mexico. In 2008 he formed the School of Bowen to formalize his teaching under an umbrella to provide live and online classes.
Barry Bowen & Jonathan Damonte
In 2010 Damonte met with Barry Ambrose Bowen, Thomas A. Bowen’s eldest son of his three children. It was Barry’s encouragement and support that gave Jonathan the confidence to continue and develop the only training that is in Barry Bowen’s mind akin to that of his father’s original work and officially endorsed The School of Bowen to use the family name in the curriculum and in the content of the training manuals of Bowen therapy as they are the truest representation of his fathers gift to the world.
